Citi Global Community Day – Global Hearts, Community Impact

South East CDC has partnered with Citi Singapore on the month-long Citi Global Community Day (GCD) campaign, exemplifying Citi's ongoing commitment to supporting those in need and strengthening bonds in the community.

Growing Impact, Strengthening Bonds

The partnership has shown remarkable growth since it started in June 2024 where over 230 Citi volunteers reached out to more than 600 beneficiaries across 13 Social Service Agencies (SSA). From accompanying elderly residents on meaningful outings to providing essential house cleaning assistance, and creating memories during children’s excursions, these volunteers showed how small acts can create lasting impact and bonds.

In 2025, the partnership had reached new heights with more than 480 Citi volunteers stepping forward to deliver practical assistance, companionship, and joy to over 1,200 beneficiaries across 19 SPEs throughout the South East District. This doubling of both volunteer participation and beneficiary reach isn’t just about numbers – it’s about twice as many hearts connecting, and twice as many lives being transformed.
